Tuesday 31st October 2023 at 15.00 (CET), the Chair for the responsible development of the Metaverse is resuming its activities. We kindly invite you to our Webinar on “Personal Data Processing within Immersive Virtual Worlds: Compliance Challenges of the GPDR”.
Vagelis Papakonstantinou (Professor at VUB, Vrije Universiteit Brussel) and Pablo Trigo Kramcsák (Doctoral Researcher at VUB) will present the preliminary conclusions of a paper they are writing on the topic. They will receive comments from discussants Eleni Kosta (Full Professor of Technology Law and Human Rights at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society of Tilburg University) and Gianclaudio Malgieri (Associate Professor of Law & Technology at Leiden University).
The webinar will be moderated by Aurelio Lopez-Tarruella (Associate Professor Private international law, University of Alicante and Director of the MetaverseUA Chair).
